Purpose : In this study, the lens was designed by inducing the calculation process using the ray tracing method and Snell's Law to remove the spherical aberration of the light entering the lens.
Methods : We used Snell's Law to go through the process of designing using the ray tracing method so that the lens' focus reach a point, then we used the optical simulation program SPEOS to measure the figures.
Results : As the angle of incidence of the lens varied, the radius of the rear lens has changed. When a certain incident height was reached, it resulted in a section that changed from the value before a certain incident height due to the correction of the spherical aberration by radius of the rear lens.
Conclusion : The study showed that lens removing spherical aberration could be designed by Snell's law and ray tracing method through the optical simulation software. Therefore, it is expected that the design of the ray tracing method using Snell's law will help the production of non-spherical lenses that remove spherical aberrations.
